Located in rooms of an old tanning factory, it contains archaeological finds from deposits in the region, particularly from the Galician-Roman hill fort of Troña. It also has works of local artists like Silverio Rivas, Antonio Medal, Rogelio Lorenzo... And at the Sobroso Castle (7 km from Ponteareas) it exhibits its ethnographic section called “Centre for the Recovery of Popular Culture”.
